Connect to Linksys WiFi extender setup Network.
- Make sure the Linksys WiFi Range Extender is plugged in and the green LED is solid.
- Make a connection to the wifi network on your computer, mobile device, or tablet: “Linksys Extender Setup.” Note: In newer versions, the setup network will appear as “Linksys Extender Setup – XXX”. XXX is the last 3 digits of your range extender’s MAC address. If you see more than one setup network, you can find the MAC address on the back or bottom of your range extender.
- Once connected, reload external.linksys.com in your browser and follow the onscreen instructions to complete setup.
